Whatswhat.ie was set up seven years ago by Barbara Gordon for the sole purpose of helping Irish businesses have a presence on the Internet without costing an arm and a leg. Six successful years later Whatswhat.ie has now teamed up with Expect Talent, a nationwide recruitment specialist to recruit 10 Area Managers and 40 Area Sales Agents throughout Ireland.
Whatswhat.ie is an online website directory providing a service to the general public and other companies searching online for a business, product or service in Ireland. Companies can be listed for free on the directory however for less than €2 a week they could get a direct website link via their online directory plus lots of other features.

In 2008 they invested in a new dynamic design for the directory and extensive SEO. A few regional sales staff were recruited and local advertising was placed. The financial director, Sian Phillips says; “We are seeing the results already as we are currently receiving on average 4000 visitors a day, over 3.5 million hits a month and more than 60,000 companies are listed with us.
